OMG! Thought I'd have to start over all over again!!

What a shocker when I tried to sign in to my blog this morning and there was NOTHING to be found!! OH NO! Not again.... please don't tell me I have to start all over again..... thank God I remembered that I do, indeed, have two different accounts!! What a mess... now how do I get rid of the other account?? LMAO Some days are so simple and then there are days like today that seem to be just one big screw up after another! But, I'm still here.... still doing my scrappin' and tut writin' and hopin' to be doin' them for a long time to come!!

It's been a few days... we've had lots of storms and I've been busy, busy, busy.... just seems like it's been one thing after another. But here I am.... I've got a new kit for you... have the pages up on SBF and on my Facebook, too, and everyone seems to like it, so hoping you do too. LOL So far, I think I'm sitting here doing this for myself.... other than Carol and Mat, I don't know if anyone else has even seen this new blog or not!! Nobody has written to say anything about it... positive or negative, either one. =)

We had a short (very short) respite from the thunder storms.... but we're back at it once again. I haven't had much time to play on the computer what with the storms in the afternoon and night and doing all the fun things like housework during the early day time.... there just don't seem to be enough hours in our day as it is, without all the other interferences. And now, another month is well on it's way. My how time does fly when we're having fun!

Our youngest grand son, Jonah, will be 3 on Tuesday!! Wow.... Happy Birthday, Jonah! I was reading his Mommy's blog on Facebook and it sure sounds like he's gonna have a cool (and I do mean cool) birthday party. He's having a Snowman party!!

Yesterday is history.....

Yesterday was fairly uneventful.... other than the fact that I was awake at 2:15 and finally gave up and got up at 3:00, there really wasn't much happening. I messed around on here (the puter) until mid afternoon and then I started in with one of my migraines and decided to go in and lay down for a while. That was at 1:30... I woke up when John came in and asked me what time I wanted to get up and if the chicken in the oven was going to be okay.... lol. I bake my chicken breasts at 300 degrees for several hours (the pan is covered with foil, so the moisture stays in and they don't get dried out). They'd be fine! I got up at 5:00..... still had the headache, but by then we were getting an awesome lightning show, so I just imagine that's what brought it on in the first place.

Supper was good but uneventful.... John did the usual kitchen cleanup (he's really a big help when it comes to some of the household chores around here). After we finished eating, he watched television and I played on the computer taking off some of the movies I've been collecting on here.... we never got any more storm other than the lightning and the rest of the evening was peaceful.

We've had 2 storms.... isn't that enough for one day?

We had such a storm(s) yesterday.... it rained so hard that we had a small lake in our back yard where the storm drain is. It was full to overflowing... wow!! That's the first time I've seen it do that during a regular storm... yeah, it overflowed after the hurricanes, but there wasn't much that didn't flood then... even the streets had flooded when we got back home.

I napped in the afternoon yesterday (during one of the storms) and was in bed by 9:00last night. I woke up at about 10:30 to find it storming again. I got up and came in and shut down my computer and went right back to sleep again. AND I didn't get up until 6:30 this morning!! WoooooHoooooo!! I don't know what time it quit storming, and obviously, I didn't really care! LOL

Today it started early... sometime around 2:00.... we've had a couple of storms come through... maybe if we're lucky, it will be all over for today? Would be nice!

What a day!!

After being up at 2:00 this morning and then going back to bed at 3:40, I got up at 6:30 and did my daily doggy walks... with Sparkie who I'm taking the morning shift for, and for Bubba who I generally walk 3 or 4 times a day, weather permitting. No bike ride this morning, though. Then back home again and off to WallyWorld and Publix. AND... of all things for me to do, I got all the way to the cash register when I realized I had forgotten to bring the check book.... grrrrr!! So back home to get the check book and then back to WallyWorld to run my "stuff" through checkout and pay for it and then on to Publix. I've been home since about 11:05 and have everything put away but the grapes, which I have to wash and put in containers for the fridge and I'm eating my lunch. Not too bad for an old lady, huh? =)

Meantime, here's another kit... hope you like this one... there are about 4 different ways you can do this kit.... it's a nice sized kit. Hope you enjoy it.

So why am I wide awake at 2:00 in the morning?

I've been awake for a half hour.... just tossing and turning and wishing I could get back to sleep... all to no avail. So I gave up and came out here to my trusty computer. Hey... it's not storming and I'm wide awake anyway... may as well get a little more done on here if I can... when I can, right? LOL Who knows? I could even manage to get some more good stuff here on the blog... or maybe I can even design another kit to post here!!

Either way, I hate waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to sleep. Supposedly, it's all part of the fibro and by now I should be used to that. But it still angers me that this stinkin' "monster" has taken over my body and I have no control over my sleeping hours... or much of anything, for that matter.

But then again, I've done some of my best work when I've either been unable to sleep or have been in a lot of pain and I'm trying to forget about it, so I guess I really shouldn't complain! Oh well.... hope you're all enjoying your nice comfy beds and sleeping the sleep of the Gods!

Wow! What a storm!

We've been having stormy weather today, but the storms tonight are way outta sight!! Think I'm gonna get off the computer and go do something else that doesn't involve being in such close contact with electricity! Have a good night, everyone... stay safe!
